The Long Crendon choir was formed some 6 years ago and has grown in strength over that time.  The primary purpose of the choir is to sing at key services, particularly the sung Communion service on the 4th Sunday of each month.  The choir is regularly augmented by members of the Chearsley and Nether Winchendon Parishes (together we form the Benefice Choir) to sing at joint Benefice services, such as Advent Sunday, Nine Lessons and Carols, Palm Sunday and 5th Sunday services  – all of which feature a significant amount of music led by the choir.

The Music is varied and increasingly aspirational as the choir goes from strength to strength! Past pieces include Ave Verum Corpus by Byrd, Locus Iste by Bruckner, The Crucifixion by Stainer, works by Bach, Mozart through to more modern music such as John Rutter,

Rehearsals are flexible, fun, and we are always looking for new members both adult and children.
